On the occasion of Alluri Sitarama Raju's 125th birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a 30-foot-tall bronze statue of him in Andhra Pradesh's Bhimavaram on Monday. As the country commemorates the 75th anniversary of its independence, we also commemorate the 125th anniversary of Alluri Sitarama Raju. At the same time, the 100-year 'Rampa Kranti' for the country's independence is completed. "I bow my head and pay tribute to him," Modi said during a special program in Bhimavaram.
