Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms occurred in isolated locations in East Rajasthan, while several locations received light to moderate rain in the 24 hours ending at 8.30 a.m. on Sunday, according to the weather service. Srinagar in Ajmer received 7 cm of rain, Bhadra and Sujangarh received 6 cm each, and Tonk tehsil, Begun, Hindoli, Baswa, Ratangarh, and Suratgarh received 5 cm each. Various locations received 1 cm to 4 cm of rain over the course of 24 hours, according to the report. According to MeT department regional director Radheshyam Sharma, heavy rains with thunder are expected in the districts of Baran, Kota, Bundi, Tonk, Ajmer, Nagaur, and Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Barmer. He predicts rain with thunderstorms in most places and heavy rain in others over the next four to five days in East Rajasthan.

Finally, there is some good news for farmers who have been suffering as a result of the state's prolonged drought. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh beginning July 18. The IMD forecasted fairly widespread and widespread rainfall in Bihar on July 19 and 20, respectively, on Saturday. On Monday, the Patna Meteorological Centre issued an orange-colored warning for the northwest and north-central parts of Bihar, as well as the districts of Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Arwal, and Begusarai. The Rajasthan government is taking steps to promote khadi and provide facilities and incentives to khadi workers. In Jaipur, the state government plans to build a Khadi Plaza. The plaza will help to promote khadi products and allow state weavers to showcase and market their wares. Rajiv Arora, chairman of Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation (RSIC), stated that technical consultants had been hired to renovate the Rajasthali complex in order to make it a tourist attraction. The draught of the "Khadi Workers Economic Incentive Scheme" has been approved by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In addition, he has set aside Rs 9 crore for worker assistance in 2022-23. With this approval, the state's khadi workers will be compensated. Under this scheme, khadi spinners/weavers will receive incentives per square meter (known as gundi) in addition to the rates set by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission based on the cost chart. Aside from that, workers in khadi organizations/societies will receive a per square meter incentive on items produced by such organizations/societies. A total of Rs 36 lakh will be spent on the development of software, computer operators, and other tasks such as data entry. Through khadi institutions/committees, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission will solicit applications from workers. The incentive will be deposited directly into the beneficiary's bank account. Meanwhile, Shakuntla Rawat, Minister for Khadi and Village Industries, stated that, in addition to aggressive marketing, the state government has proposed an online platform to increase sales of khadi products. She has directed officers to organize a month-long exhibition in each district featuring khadi-related products.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts light and scattered rain in Delhi on Thursday. The highest temperature is expected to be around 36 degrees Celsius. The national capital has been issued a green alert until July 19, indicating only light rain or drizzle. On Wednesday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 37.1 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal, and a minimum temperature of 26.8 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. On Thursday, the low temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees. Safdarjung, Delhi's weather station, recorded 123.7mm of rain in July. A large portion of it arrived between 8:30 a.m. on June 30 and July 1. (117.2mm). The average monthly rainfall in Delhi in July is 210.6mm. On Thursday, the air quality in Delhi improved even more. At 7 a.m., the air quality index was 79 (satisfactory), compared to 95 (satisfactory) at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

An official said on Thursday that the administration has declared a two-day holiday for all schools in Maharashtra's Latur district due to the forecast for rain and the possibility of flooding. Due to the weather forecast, schools will be closed for Classes 1 to 12 on Friday and Saturday, according to Chief Executive Officer Abhinav Goyal. The order states that, while schools will remain closed, teachers and non-teaching staff must remain on the premises because the Disaster Management Act of 2005 has been imposed in the district. For a few days, the district has been inundated with rain. The water level in the Manjara dam has risen after the catchment areas received 50 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. According to the administration, the district received an average of 38 mm of rain in the 24-hour period ending at 8 a.m., bringing the total rainfall recorded this monsoon to 345.9 mm. Two gates of the Manjara barrage at Bhatangali village were opened on Wednesday, and district officials issued a warning to people living near the river bank, according to reports.
