The BJP's two-day National Executive meeting is being held in Hyderabad, and the party is highlighting Telangana's cultural heritage and history during the grand event, which begins on Saturday. According to BJP sources, the event will include performances of Telangana's ancient dance form Perini Sivathandavam, as well as Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. According to the party, an exhibition will be set up to showcase the state's culture, handicrafts, Telangana's "liberation struggle" against the then-Nizam rule, and the role of the BJP in achieving statehood for Telangana, among other things.
